Geotechnical Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with expertise in civil engineering, construction management, and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing geotechnical projects, ensuring their successful completion from inception to delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from land surveying to water treatment facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and analysis for various construction projects.
- Provide recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and earthwork.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are integrated into project plans.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation related to geotechnical findings.
- Utilize software such as MicroStation and ArcGIS for drafting and analysis purposes.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required).
- Proficiency in construction estimating and drafting.
- Experience in geotechnical engineering or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and systems.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, ArcGIS, or similar software tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
