Main Job Duties Include:

Responsible for setting up work area and obtaining appropriate parts and materials.
- Develop and perform preventative maintenance procedures and perform specified maintenance on machines and equipment.

Assemble and install new equipment and machines.

Modify existing equipment as required to reduce downtime and maximize effectiveness.

Maintain physical integrity of interior and exterior of building.
-
Request needed parts and supplies from Maintenance Manager with sufficient notice to allow for delivery.

Provide technical support to kaizen projects and/or other problem-solving activities.

Perform basic computer functions (i.e. input and update maintenance records).

Maintain a clean and functioning work area per 5S standards.

Perform related duties (including those in other areas of production) as assigned by supervisor.

Follow all company safety guidelines including wearing the proper protective equipment for job assignment.

Maintain compliance with all company guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

Basic verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively read and follow process sheets and production documents.

Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Ability to be certified in Class A forklift operation.

Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting with working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication areas.

Ability to understand written material and ability to write using correct spelling and punctuation; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using fractions or decimals.
