Territory Sales Manager
NELCO Worldwide
NELCO is seeking a Territory Sales Manager, primarily responsible for achieving and exceeding sales growth targets in Southeastern United States, from Kentucky to Florida. The Territory Sales Manager is tasked with identifying and qualifying opportunities, responding to inquiries, developing, and delivering proposals, and successfully closing sales in radiation therapy, and industrial markets.
Territory Sales Manager Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s or associate degree, preferably with a concentration in business, construction, or shielding industry

Thorough understanding of basic sales principles and practices, with expertise in both direct and phone sales; ability to quickly assess and tailor sales calls to meet customer needs

Fundamental understanding of architectural processes, production distribution channels, construction aspects, and sales and marketing strategies
-
Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining key accounts, with excellent client retention abilities
-
Adept at reading blueprints and estimates
-
Stellar oral and written communication skills, especially in organizing and crafting sales presentations and proposals
-
Skill in developing qualified contacts and effective follow-up after presentations
-
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating good time management and attention to detail

Competency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to develop and track leads through a CRM system

Creates estimates and quarterly sales reports through CRM
-
Experience with prospecting, cold call tactics, and implementing territory business plans to achieve growth targets

Solid knowledge of the construction and construction distribution business is a plus
-
Working knowledge and understanding of the construction contracting business

Demonstrated skills in customer service, addressing and satisfying customer needs and concerns

Technical skills sufficient to educate clients on NELCO products, services, and capabilities

Ability to follow ISO policies and procedures

Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time

Valid Driver’s License

Territory Sales Manager Job Responsibilities
Based within the territory, the role involves working indoors 50% of the time and traveling for customer presentations the remaining time. The target audience includes potential or existing customers and key influencers such as:

Construction and product distributors

Industrial manufacturers or distributors

Medical equipment manufacturers

Regional Construction Managers, General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Architects specializing in medical facilities and national corporate medical facilities

Architectural and consulting firms
Additional Responsibilities:

Drive market growth through lead development, identification of new selling opportunities, account prospecting, and solicitation of new material and installation bids

Establish and nurture account relationships to ensure long-term partnerships

Demonstrate a high comfort level with direct sales and cold calls, whether over the phone or in person

Compile potential customer lists to target effectively

Represent NELCO products and capabilities in face-to-face interactions with customers

Prepare and finalize sales agreements to secure deals

Represent NELCO at technical meetings, trade shows, and product knowledge presentations
-
Solicit and deliver presentations at national corporate medical facilities, distributors, and equipment manufacturers

Develop relationships with key influencers, including medical equipment manufacturers, contractors, architectural firms, and consulting physicist groups
