Our Motel 6 location in North Palm Springs, CA has an immediate need for a Head Housekeeper. This team member is crucial to our success working closely with the General Manager/AGM/MOD to ensure the property is running smoothly and both guests and employees are taken care of. The Head Housekeeper will manage the housekeeping staff ensuring that our guests receive a clean comfortable room. They will play an integral part in the training, performance management, and ongoing development of their team.

The person selected for this role will have:
- Motel 6 experience a plus, preferably (not required)
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory position – preferably in a fast food, retail or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication skills, Bi-lingual preferred (not required)
- Exposure to managing a team
- Passion for customer service
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- Problem identification and resolution skills
- Proven ability to coach and counsel team members
- Clean, dust, and polish to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including complete weekend and holiday availability
- Must have great customer service skills – all of our positions come into contact with guests
- Experience in a hotel, apartment or a related field preferred
- Weekends (a must)

To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
