Adolescent youth receive individualized special education within our small Chapter 766 approved Special Education School (5th-12th grade), as well as clinical treatment and daily behavioral support, through a trauma-informed lens. Stevens is seeking an experienced and passionate SPED certified teacher who is motivated to enhance their leadership capacities and further develop their career. We are seeking a responsible, compassionate and dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Educational Coordinator.
The full-time Educational Coordinator is responsible for oversight of the IEPs developed and implemented by the Stevens School. The Educational Coordinator supports the success of the school and students by providing support to and supervising the teachers.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in Special Education

Have (or be eligible for) Massachusetts Certification as a Special Education Teacher

A minimum of two years’ teaching experience in Special Education

Knowledge of the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) process
-
Demonstrated ability to effectively relate to and communicate with adolescents with behavioral disorders and disabilities, and other professionals in a clear and concise manner
Payrate:
$72,000-$77,000 based on qualifications and experience
$1000 sign-on bonus
Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 4:00
