Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Sales Coordinator who promotes and sells catering services, generates sales leads, builds and maintains client relationships, coordinates event details and logistics, negotiates contracts and pricing, collaborates with culinary and operations teams, ensures client satisfaction, and analyzes market trends for new opportunities. This position will also have some event coordinator responsibilities.
Duties
- solicit new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques.
- book, sell, plan and coordinate all catering, private dining and food truck events while assuring the highest level of customer service.
- Manage and coordinate catering services for clients, including meetings, events, and functions.
- Negotiate and finalize catering contracts with vendors.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize Salesforce to track and manage client accounts, catering services, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
- Develop and execute business development plans to grow the catering business.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest catering trends and technology sales.
- Ensure all catering services meet the company's quality and service standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in catering, sales, or customer service.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and customer feedback.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business development and sales skills.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
