Job Summary
The Production Lead coordinates and leads the work of employees on the production team while ensuring production goals are met by following safety and security procedures
of employees, equipment, and product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous product flow in areas of responsibility
- Ensure proper staffing levels
- Assist with evaluation of processes and ensure they are being followed
- Complete production reports as requested by Management
- Assist with training and cross training of designated personnel
- Meet daily goals set by Management
- Attend periodic meeting with Management
- Assist in evaluation and setting goals for personnel on production line
- Monitor production of personnel in responsible department
- Report any workplace issues to the attention of proper Management
Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year experience in production environment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Beginners level Windows/Office
- High School degree or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Fine dexterity motor skills
- Excellent Vision
- Ability to lift 10 –15 lbs.
