Believe in Me is seeking to hire a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team! We are seeking a part-time SLP with the opportunity to build to full-time hours. Initially seeking after-school availability but may build to daytime as well.

Believe in Me is a center-based facility that provides ABA therapy, social skills groups, parent/caregiver training, IEP review, and behavior intervention plans. We serve children with behavioral, social, communication, and cognitive challenges. Our clients are between the ages of 18 months – 12 years old.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a positive and energetic personality and able to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Have a passion in helping children succeed
- Be able to handle interaction with parents in a supportive role
- Apply speech objectives functionally during play
- Understand functions of behaviors with ability to manage maladaptive behaviors
- Have experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum
- Have a Master’s degree and graduated from an accredited speech language pathology curriculum
- Have an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency
- Have a current NJ license or be qualified for NJ license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Have effect time management skills
- Be proficient in verbal and written English communication skills
Responsibilities include:
- Completing assessments, analyzing results, and writing reports in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
- Developing treatment plans that are child and family centered
- Operating within all state and federal guidelines when creating/completing evaluations and treatment plans and when providing services
- Collaborating with colleagues and providing feedback on client’s speech and language functions
- Carrying over all multi-disciplinary strategies
- Completing session notes and progress reports in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
- Recording all services provided and missed due to client or therapist
- Coordinating schedule with family and ABA team

- Providing feedback and training to parents/caregivers
- Adhering to all HIPPA regulations
