Life as a Fulfillment Center Manager at CES:
The Fulfillment Center Manager is expected to fully understand the fulfillment center processes and procedures to proficiently manage fulfillment center activities.
The primary fulfillment center activities include cycle counting, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and final delivery of materials to customers in an efficient and accurate manner.
The Fulfillment Center Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the fulfillment center, and overseeing its supervisors, employees, and their overall day to day activities. Additionally, the Fulfillment Center Manager must quickly resolve complex situations as they arise to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction.

Directs, schedules, coordinates, and evaluates fulfillment center operations and staff.

Manages recruitment, training, and supervision of employees, including supervisors.

Plans, assigns, and evaluates work, handles performance appraisals, rewards, and disciplinary actions.

Provides coaching, addresses complaints, and resolves issues.

Collaborates with Customer Service Manager to address customer concerns and ensure quality.

Promotes a Customer-First mentality and monitors quality performance for continuous improvement.

Communicates with leadership to address capacity and bottleneck issues.

Manages material inventories, implements safety procedures, and upholds 5S principles.

Coordinates pick-ups, deliveries, and oversees 3PL and LTL performance.

Maintains fixed assets and equipment and performs other assigned duties.

Builds positive relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of multitasking and working full-time or overtime as needed.

5+ years of distribution or warehouse management experience.

Military experience, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent level of work experience, in Business or Business Administration from an accredited university, preferred.
