POSITION DESCRIPTION
A construction Project Scheduler is a construction professional with a few years of experience in construction who plays a supporting role in the overall construction and management of multiple projects. Coordination of multiple projects from start to finish including the initial organizing of Microsoft Project or P6 Schedules on all projects beginning during the bidding phase, assist in scheduling details to achieve Project Closeout, including punch list management and administration, operating manuals, warranties and guarantees, electronic records and as built drawings. Perform additional assignments per project manager's direction. Ensure timely completion of multiple deliverables, and proactively address difficult situations in a positive cooperative manner. Long-term objectives include periodic review of job practices for quality, efficiency, work methods, and following company policies. The Project Scheduler performance is measured through KPI’s to contribute to the overall company success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination
- Construct and maintain project schedules with the project team and track weekly until project completion.
- Review and coordinate project schedules affected by RFI/change order, send notifications and log changes.

- Provide real time support to the field for re-schedules.
Administrative
- Attend project meetings, schedule meetings, prepare meeting minutes and aid in project task creation.
- Maintain regular communication with Office and Field Leadership on project schedule status through reviewing daily communications, daily field reports, and photos/ files uploaded to Procore/ OneDrive.
- Help communicate daily production expectations the week before and hold superintendents accountable.
- Perform project audits to ensure scheduling process is working and quality is being delivered to clients.
Overall
- Assist in creating construction scheduling, phasing plans, and field logistics summaries on new projects.
- Assist in the bidding/estimating process when needed.
- Monitor P6 Project usage and take proactive measures to ensure department wide compliance.
- Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues: Out of Sequence Work, contingencies, and roadblocks that may arise during the implementation of projects.
- Perform additional assignments per Senior Manager’s direction.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 Years of Commercial P6 Scheduling Experience on midsize and specialty commercial building projects.
- Strong knowledge in computer software (P6, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Procore, Takeoff)
- Demonstrate understanding of architectural plans and specifications, scheduling, constructability, phasing and logistics, and comply with all state contracting laws: NAC, IIPP, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and customers simultaneously; exceptional organizational skills are required and the ability to meet designated deadlines is critical.
- People skills are essential; able to establish trust, confidence, and relationships quickly through excellent writing, oral presentation skills, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Candidate must always maintain the highest level of confidentiality and possess the ability to properly handle sensitive materials concerning the organization.
- OSHA 30 Card
- Valid Driver’s license.
