We are looking for a strong and reliable individual to join our team of Front Desk Agents. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, will have prior experience with receptionist duties, and are capable of handling multiple tasks at once. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, well organized and have an eye for detail. Our Front Desk Agents are the first point of contact for clients, so we are looking for candidates with an eye for detail and a dedication to service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Ensure outstanding customer care at all times
· Maintains a friendly, cheerful and continuous demeanor at all times
· Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts reservations
· Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns
· Reconciles all reservations and payments from all guests, including third party agencies, groups, and others
· Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy, and revenue
· Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures
· Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems, in a quick and efficient manner to maintain high level of customer satisfaction and quality of service
· Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guest preferences and special requests
· Build strong relationships and communication with all other department’s including housekeeping and maintenance
· Operate the EPBIX equipment, including assisting incoming & outgoing calls, setting wake-up calls, and answering all inquiries for in-house guests
· Crosscheck all billing instructions are correctly implemented, and all payments are received
· Controls cash, and credit transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for payment methods as specified by the hotel
Job Requirements
· Ability to multitask and maintain organized in a busy environment
· Preferred experience as a front desk manager or receptionist at a hotel
· Possess energy and take great pride in serving customers
· Strong problem solving skills and communicating with managers, and management periodically and as necessary
· Ability to communicate in English fluently
· Experience with hotel systems such as SynXis Property Hub is a plus.
