Our growing law firm is looking for a legal assistant/ intake case manager who wants to learn and grow and is able to work in a fast-paced environment. Our number one priority is our clients and you will need to accomplish your work in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers and other staff to enhance office effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- assist in the new client intake process
- communicate professionally with clients and insurance companies
- assist with client intake
- monitor firm calendar
- provide administrative support to our attorneys.
- preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw or similar tools
- Manage document management systems
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and proper phone etiquette
- Assist in interviewing clients and witnesses
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and file maintenance
- Support attorneys in preparing for trials
Skills:
- Full computer proficiency including microsoft word, PDF, adobe, Excel, Powerpoint, and general fluency in computer usage;
-Proficiency in legal administrative procedures
- Knowledge of paralegal duties and responsibilities
- Experience with file management and organization
- Familiarity with document management systems
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
