Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for creating delicious meals. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of food safety.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook food according to recipes or as per the Chef's instructions
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented according to standard recipes
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with meal preparation, catering, or food service is a plus
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment such as knives
