JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Door Inventory Specialist will function primarily as the department’s administrative support. This role will work closely with the Garage Door Sales Representatives to perform all activities related to stocking and replenishing goods sold by the company by performing the duties outlined below.
Essential Functions

- Place stocking orders, re-orders and special orders with specific vendors as well as prepare and dispatch purchase orders.
- Enter data for quantities of parts/doors ordered into the computer database.
- Track transfer of doors between company locations
- Respond to the various departments within the organization who may need information regarding vendors, door types, expected delivery dates, etc.
- Check all invoice discrepancies involving vendors in your area of responsibility.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment as well as in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are between 35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
A high school diploma or a GED.
Preferred Education and Experience
One or more years of related experience and/or training.
