Position Summary:
The basic function of the job is to construct, repair, and maintain plant machinery.
- Repairs or replaces worn or broken machine parts by disassembling, locating defective part, (may) fabricating simple parts, installing functional part then reassembling machine (E).
- Modifies and sets-up machines or equipment (E);
- Responsible for air compressor operations (E);
- Starts-up and shuts-down air compressors (E);
- Works safely;
- Maintains work area in a clean & orderly condition;
- Performs various other job responsibilities as required.
Education, Training and Experience:
High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
Machine maintenance procedures
Lift truck operator
5 years, or equivalent, maintenance experience preferred
Pre-requisite Skills :
Some machine mechanical ability (industrial maintenance experience preferred)
Oral communication skills
Basic knowledge of gears & gear ratios
Manual dexterity & fine manipulation
Math aptitude
General knowledge of airline plumbing & basic electrical systems
Ascend & function on elevated platform
Reading skills – 10th grade level
General knowledge of welding
Works well in team situations

Lock-out/tag-out training
Spill Containment training
PIV & Riser training
Confined Space Training
Individual machine maintenance procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
