Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
Responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing best practice and continuous improvement initiatives for a business unit. Responsible for managing the delivery of information systems and/or technology services, which may include software, networks, databases, helpdesk, etc.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.

Researches, develops, and implements related best practices.

Develops metrics to track performance and goal achievement.

Serves as internal consultant relative to continuous improvement initiatives.

Identifies and develops plans to improve performance to be incorporated enterprise wide.

Accountable for ensuring ServiceNow platform processes are fit for purpose.

Defines the process/service mission, vision, tactics, goals, objectives, and KPIs.

Provides the authority to affect process change, including continuous improvement opportunities.

Documents and maintains the process and procedures.

Participates in requirements discussions and helps to resolve cross-functional conflicts.

Reviews stories for accurate definition and acceptance criteria.

Ensures consistent execution of the process across the organization.

Provides formal process testing and UAT sign-off.

Reports on the effectiveness of the process to senior management.

Works closely with platform owner and demand manager to prioritize the relevant backlog.

Plans, directs, and controls resources and initiatives to accomplish the objectives.
- Obtains, develops, and oversees the use of necessary resources.
- Manages a single application (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity).
- Assists in budget development.
- Manages processes and receives assignments in the form of objectives and framework on how to meet goals.
- Identifies and resolves hurdles for assigned area/group.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrating technical expertise in one or more specific technologies; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

8-10 years of process improvement experience with planning, project management, business analysis, and leadership role experience.

3 + years of experience as a Process Improvement Manager level; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

A minimum of 3 years of management or leader experience strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of business operations and expertise in relevant tools and technical skills preferred.

Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Ability to travel maybe required.

Experience working within a FedRamp Instance.

Must be US citizen.
Job Type: Contract with potential to hire.

Hours are flexible, but traditional 8-5 M-F is likely.
- 1-2 days a week in office.
- Tuesday required in office.

Locations: Candidates can reside in Atlanta, Indianapolis, or Cincinnati.
- ATL is the #1 preferred.
