Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Summary*
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the procurement of goods and services required for the production, service, and install processes. Accurately and in a timely manner, entering information into the ERP system (Infor) to ensure projects are completed on time.

Success Criteria & Measurement*
- Performs all work in a timely manner as designated by Project Managers
- Accurately completes orders and paperwork
- Consistently communicates lead times to requestors
- Works with limited supervision
- Maintains professional conduct at all times, particularly when interacting with vendors, customers, and other employees

Responsibilities*
- Identify and select suppliers who provide the required goods and services at the best price and quality; negotiate with suppliers to get the best possible price and lead time to ensure that the procurement process is efficient and cost-effective
- Help with the oversight of inventory to ensure that production or installation is not disrupted due to shortages; communicating with production, service, and install teams to ensure that materials are available when needed
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure that they understand the company's needs and expectations; monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise
- As needed, assist in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the company's interests are protected
- Analyze the cost of goods and services and develop strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality or delivery times
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards
- Continuously evaluate the procurement process and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction

Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems and other procurement software
- Detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
