Role Description:
A Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the work on homes in a project. The Superintendent is present to ensure contractors are performing work to the Grenadier standards. The Superintendent must perform quality walks throughout all stages of the home’s progress and quickly resolve issues in the field.
Detailed Responsibilities:
The following are detailed descriptions of the job tasks involved with this position:

Inspections

Schedule city and third party inspections required per project

Perform regular safety meetings and inspections

Deliver inspection packets and meet with city and third party inspectors

Organize and schedule needed corrections from city and third party inspectors

Quality

Walk and inspect work performed on the project for quality control

Organize and schedule needed corrections noted from quality walks

Contractor Supervision

Organize the work and selections for each project

Schedule the contractors that are to be performing work on each project

Meet with the contractor foreman at the project to confirm work to be performed

Organize and schedule needed corrections noted from quality walks

Corporate

Order materials and short orders for each project

Meet with Sales and Project Manager(s) to update the progress of each project

Process all invoices for work performed on each project

Schedule and perform walks with the buyers for each project

Maintain SWPPP and overall appearance of the project

Schedule various warranty work on completed projects
Requirements:
Requirements:
Superintendents must have a reliable form of transportation as well as current drivers’ license and auto insurance. This position requires a detail oriented, organized individual with good time management and conflict resolution abilities. In addition, this position requires the ability to stand and walk for several hours at a time.
