Some Duties Include (But Not Limited To)
- Prepare Patients for and assists with examinations
- Conducts specified laboratory test
- Collect lab specimens, including blood, urine, stool, mucous
- Administers injections and medications, dresses wounds and incisions
- Interprets providers instruction to patients
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments and equipment
- Maintains stock of supplies and medications
- Records and develops electrocardiograms
- Relays messages to providers, assist providers with prescription requests, phones in prescriptions to appropriate pharmacy
- Other duties as assigned by the provider and/or supervisor
- Employees are expected to remain current on all protocols
SKILLS
- Experience with EMR
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical office procedures
- Patient flow in a primary care setting is preferred
- Skills in verbal and written communication
- Demonstrates excellent customer service
- Good communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
