JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage service requests. Perform both routine and complex repairs.
Repair and enhance your community. Responsible for repairing or maintaining plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and painting needs at the community, providing training to other team members as needed.
Implement and manage a scheduled maintenance program. Monitor the maintenance and up-keep of all mechanical equipment in the rental and sales inventory including water heaters, HVAC units, and waterproofing and roof integrity
Supervise Home Renovations - Create and maintain a make-ready schedule. Monitor MH vacancies daily and initiate the turnover process.
Notice the details - Complete daily property walks and regular community and home inspections to proactively recommend necessary repairs or replacement of any interior or exterior areas on the property.
Operation of Machinery
Availability for Emergencies - Asses issues, determine a response
Responsibility to support the Community Manager in all phases of the overall physical maintenance and appearance of the property.
Preventative Maintenance - assist and follow all preventive maintenance programs, as well as all required state and federal safety programs.
Inventory Management - Maintain inventory and prepare related paperwork.
Storage Facility Management - Keep storage facilities and equipment in an orderly, working condition.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of hands-on general Mobile Home Park maintenance experience/Supervisory experience
- Adaptability, multi-tasking, and sound decision-making abilities are required and essential to the success of this role
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
- Reliable and consistent form of daily transportation to and from work, including after-hours for emergencies
- Computer proficiency and frequent daily use of / proficiency with a Smartphone with updated software
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 10+ Years of experience working in mobile home parks
- Trade school training or industry designation
- High school diploma or equivalent
Salary:
e successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
