MDG is an independent agency for MODE Transportation one of the top 25 largest transportation companies in North America. MDG is currently looking for National or Enterprise Sales Manager in the DFW area.
- This is a 100% commissioned position.
- The Agent gets paid weekly on Billed/Delivered loads in Parcel, LTL, FTL, Ocean, Drayage, Expedite, Air.
- This is not cradle-to-grave position, it is only the sales and business development portion. We currently have multiple operations team that will be assigned and help with cultivating all accounts.
- You are the C.E.O. of your territory
- There is no cap on income
Job Requirements:
- At least five (5) years in sales in one or more transportation verticals: Full Truckload, LTL, Drayage, Ocean, Expedited, or Air
- A current book of business of a minimum $25K+ in Gross Profit a month or more in any vertical.
- Have three (3) years working in a CRM. (Salesforce, Oracle, HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Preferred but not required, three (3) years working with a TMS (CargoWise, GoFreight, McLeod, Mercury Gate, Aljex, PCS)
- At least three (3) years of inside sales, outside sales, or enterprise account management.

Role/Responsibilities
- Build long-standing relationships with new and existing customers, carriers, and co-workers;
- Find capacity and coverage for all shipments;
- Accountable for tracking and tracing all pickups and deliveries;
- Resolving service issues and failures while working with the management team;
- Establish and maintain a personal book of business by establishing best practices and industry-best customer service;
- Negotiate rates with customers and carriers;
- Assist support departments as needed with customer billing or carrier issues
- Manage customers with historical freight; grow and expand relationships with them
- Develop, Grow, and Expand new customers onboarded by the Sales Team
- Collaborate with Sales Team to ensure that customer needs are understood and supported
- Achieve new volume, gross profit $, and % goals, new lanes/location goals and account growth goals, as applicable
- Oversee and train operations to assist with daily tasks
- Carrier Vetting
- Provide useful and timely updates during shipment lifecycles
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Source capacity to meet customer needs
- Assist with the team to establish SOPs for Truckload Operations
- Provide creative solutions for complex transportation situations as they arise
