Responsibilities:
- Process Bi-Weekly payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain employee records and update changes in payroll system
- Calculate and process wage garnishments, deductions, and adjustments
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Proficient in ADP, QuickBooks & Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Experience with data entry and general ledger reconciliation
- Ability to accurately perform 10-key typing for data entry purposes
- Knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting
