Title: Vice President of Land Acquisition

Position Summary:
Lead the charge in transforming land into vibrant communities as the Vice President of Land. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the acquisition and development of properties, ensuring the seamless transition of land into finished lots for our home builder division. From cultivating strategic partnerships to overseeing project milestones, you'll play a crucial role in fulfilling our vision of building better lives, one neighborhood at a time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Regional VP Land to craft and execute acquisition strategies.
- Identify and secure prime development opportunities aligned with divisional objectives.
- Navigate negotiations and contractual agreements with finesse and acumen.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the real estate landscape.
- Oversee project feasibility assessments and guide decision-making processes.
- Champion cost-effective subdivision designs and construction practices.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Deliver comprehensive project documentation and progress reports.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of expertise in land acquisitions, development, or related fields.
- Proven track record of effective leadership and team management.
- Adept at navigating complex real estate transactions and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion autonomously.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in single-family subdivision development for a production home builder.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and DealPath software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
