EXECUTIVE CHEF
Confidential Club in the Coachella Valley is searching for a new Executive Chef to lead the culinary team.
The Executive Chef, or Head Chef, is responsible for supervising the kitchen staff and ensuring the quality of all food items. The Executive Chef is responsible for all communication in the department, including pre and post shift meetings, develops menus and recipes, creates and implements new policies and procedures, assists in the creation of the annual budget, conducts bi-annual employee reviews and sets departmental goals.
The candidate must possess at least 5 years of Executive or Executive Sous Chef experience in a scratch kitchen, preferably fine dining.
Along with managing the department (setting pars, ordering, vendor relations, menu creation, weekly specials), you will be responsible for all human resource responsibilities, such as hiring and firing. The candidate will be responsible for on-going training, scheduling, safety, cleanliness, health department, kitchen maintenance, pest control and working with fellow managers.
This position is full time, both in season and off season, and reports to the General Manager. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Culinary school certified preferred, but not required.
Bi-lingual is a plus.
Must be Serve safe certified.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
