Under the direction of the Executive Director of APAFSS, the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services is responsible for leading and overseeing the administrative and clinical operations of Behavioral Health Services at APAFSS. The Clinical Director’s responsibilities include administrative and clinical supervision of the delivery of behavioral health services at school sites and APAFSS outpatient clinic locations. The Clinical Director is also responsible for the quality, improvement and training of the Behavioral Health team.
Bonus of $5,000 after 1 year of employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads and supervises the development and oversight of Behavioral Health Services at APAFSS under the direction of the ED.
- Responsible for the implementation of school- based mental health services and education- related mental health services, and other clinical services at APAFSS.
- Responsible for administrative, budget planning, review and submission, clinical supervision of clinicians and other staff on the Behavioral Health team.
- Oversees the Training Program for clinical interns.
- Responsible for training the Behavioral Health team.
- Responsible for assuring timely completion of documentation and billing for services provided by clinicians.
- Responsible for working with funders such as SFUSD, BHRS/DPH, DCYF and ECC to assure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Responsible for working with funders to deliver clinical services per contractual terms.
- Provides direct clinical services, per the direction of the ED.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master Degree or Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology or related field required.
- A current license to practice clinical social work (LCSW) in the State of California, a current license to practice Marriage & Family Counseling (LMFT) in the state of California, or a current license to practice clinical psychology (Licensed PhD or PsyD) in the state of California is required.
- At least three (3) years of post-licensed experience in behavioral health, and within the three years at least one (1) year has to be in supervisory role for program and clinical services is required.
- Knowledge and competency in clinical services for children, youth and families is required. Familiarity with clinical treatment models, as well as laws and regulations, and standards of care as they are related to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality and other ethical issues.
- Experience and familiarity with school-based behavioral health services and the overall system of care for children, youth and families in the Bay Area preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.

Pay: $96,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
