THE JOB:
As a VIP Lounge Representative, you will deliver the highest level of guest service by assisting with hotel reservations, casino play, ticketing inquiries, and restaurant reservations. You will ensure a flawless VIP check-in/out process, handle financial transactions responsibly, and resolve guest bills with casino hosts. Additionally, you will open and close the VIP lounge daily following department standards, guaranteeing that everything is in order for all VIP guests prior to arrival.
THE STARTING RATE: $20/hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Deliver the highest level of guest service while using various systems to assist with hotel reservations, casino play, ticketing inquiries, and restaurant reservation inquiries. Ensure everything is in order for all VIP guests prior to arrival.
Answer questions, facilitate guest reservations, and verify if special requests/amenities were delivered.
Ensure the VIP check-in/out process is efficient and flawless, fostering an excellent working relationship between the property and the guest.
Resolve guest bills with casino hosts for any additional food, beverages, or show tickets.
Ensure correct charges and credits are posted, collect payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and demonstrate responsibility in balancing all cash and cash equivalent transactions using property cash handling procedures.
Open the VIP lounge daily by following department standards, including but not limited to running VIPR reports for limo arrival and departure information, and assigning rooms for VIP arrivals.
Close the VIP lounge daily by following department standards, including but not limited to ensuring guest rooms are assigned, amenities sent, taking prepared keys to the front desk, running next day arrival reports, forwarding phones, and locking the VIP lounge.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Previous experience in front desk, guest services, concierge, or a similar role in a resort setting.
Familiarity with using Opera and Patron systems.
Flexible with part time/on call schedule with various hours as needed by department.
Demonstrates reliability, dependability, and a strong commitment to meticulously managing all responsibilities.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using various computer programs and performing administrative tasks.
Prior experience operating multi-line phone systems, generating reports, and promptly responding to emails and phone calls, all while ensuring the highest level of guest service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience.
Bilingual.
Experience with Opera software.
Experience in a similar resort setting.
