We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician.
Candidate requirements include:
· High school diploma/GED
· 2 Years Technical School Training
· Experience maintaining electronics, mechanics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment applications and repair.
· Experience or equivalent education with programming and troubleshooting PLCs
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, etc.)
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment (e.g., engine lathe, vertical milling machine, surface grinder, band saw, drill press, etc.)
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication principles (e.g., GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, OA cutting, grinding, etc.)
- Experience in PLC troubleshooting and basic programming
- Experience working with single and three phase plant electrical systems, including DC voltage and AC voltage from 24V to 480V
- Experience working with relay and discrete device control systems
- Experience using sensing and control devices
- Experience using both DC and AC motors
- Understanding of electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices
- AutoCAD, RSlogix and/or CNC experience a plus

Job duties include:
· Primary duties will include preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, repair & installation of equipment/machinery as well as general building maintenance.
· Reads blueprint schematics, manuals and other resource material to determine work procedures, faulty components and process of repair.
· Maintains quick access to critical component parts for each machine and piece of equipment.
· Calibrates, aligns and balances machines and equipment.
· Dismantles machines and equipment for repair or movement.
· Operates diagnostic and repair equipment in the performance of maintenance duties such as circuit testers, voltmeters, and other tools as required.
· Performs electrical and electronic repairs to the component or board level.
· Assesses and recommends disposition on replacement or repair of equipment.
· Assembles machines and equipment.
· Performs preventive maintenance duties as scheduled on all equipment.
· Handles hazardous materials and liquids such that spills and leaks are prevented and all such materials are contained in compliance with EPA requirements.
· Carry out all practices and procedures in such a manner to achieve the accuracy, quality and production standards necessary in accordance with company policy.
· Monitors unscheduled machine downtime due to mechanical breakdown, electrical problems, wear and tear, etc.
· Maintain logs as required on downed machines, preventative maintenance schedules, purchase orders, and on maintenance performed daily.
· Perform various other duties as assigned.
