JOB PURPOSE / DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision, assists with overall park operation, administrative, and maintenance duties in accordance with the Department.
- Collecting and accounting for revenue
- Routine maintenance
- Park Interpretation
- Assist with operations to include public use areas, retail operations, and other park facilities.
- Assist with maintaining a safe work environment.
- Assist with reservations of rental facilities.
MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work flexible and rotating schedule, 40 hours per week (10 hours per day), including most weekends and holidays.
- Possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and valid driver’s license.
- This position requires medium to heavy lifting, walking and standing on uneven terrain, crawling and working at heights.
- Exposure to weather conditions, cleaning agents and other materials used in maintaining park facilities and grounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Hourly Wage: $11.00 / Hour
This is a part time, NON-permanent field position which is eligible for up to 40 hours a week for 52 weeks a year. Rotating schedule, 10 hours per day, including most weekends and holidays.
