Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med/Surg unit. The Med/Surg RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients, assessing their conditions, administering medications, and educating them and their families on various medical procedures and treatment plans. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills. As a Med/Surg RN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient outcomes while adhering to professional nursing standards and best practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medication, treatments, and therapies, as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history accurately
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the hospitalization process
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to regulatory standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery
- Assist in the discharge planning process, including patient and family education, coordination of care services, and arranging follow-up appointments
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Specify state]

- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
