Omni Wound Physicians is currently hiring for a Wound Care Provider (Doctor of Medicine, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner).

Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams during regularly scheduled weekly rounds at various healthcare facilities and in the home.
- Provide wound care services to patients in residential homes and in partner facilities such as skilled nursing and assisted living homes. We also serve home health and hospice patients.
- Assess patients’ health status by reviewing relevant health and medical history.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess change to patients’ health care needs.
- Develop a treatment plan for wound care based on diagnosis.
- Perform bedside wound care procedures including debridement techniques, surgical cleansing, dressing application, pressure relief, pain control, and odor control.
- Track the progress of wound healing.
- Maintain daily productivity expectations.
- Be familiar with the management of various wound care types, including the use of advanced modalities such as skin grafts, ultramist, and excisional debridements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Engage partner facility nurses to assist with wound care.
- Collaborate with nursing, medical, and other healthcare team members regularly to ensure quality patient care.
- Be a Champion in customer service.
- Be a Leader in motivating and encouraging patients and patient caregivers.
- Provide clear direction to achieve goals, creating an environment that fosters team commitment and employee engagement.
- Attend regularly scheduled team meetings to foster continued training, team building, and leadership development.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Doctor of Medicine, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner License is required.
Knowledge/Ability/Skills:
- Wound care experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Surgical background preferred but not mandatory.
- Written and verbal communications skills (computer skills necessary)
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Ability to learn, teach and manage others.
- Be a team player.
New graduates are welcome. We will provide training.

Compensation:
- Rate - From $162,500.00 per year
- Pay range will depend on certifications, license (MD, PA, or NP) and experience.
