Converdia Health Staffing is a locally owned healthcare staffing agency dedicated to matching healthcare professionals with local and national career opportunities. We place various clinicians in travel nurse contracts throughout the US. We also specialize in per diem/PRN work locally.
We are seeking Recruiters to join our team! A recruiter in this position will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. Recruiters collaborate with client managers and facility contacts to ensure best fit for the facility and clinician. This would include placement in a PRN and/or Travel setting.
Our ideal recruiter preferably holds an academic Business or Management background combined with work experience in sales, management and assessing prospective candidates.
***This position is not remote and will require the daily commute to our West Fargo office. Potential candidates must live within commuting distance. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.***

Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit candidates via daily phone calls from our databases, social media posts, job boards, etc.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, experience and aptitudes
- Assist with onboarding new employees in order to become fully integrated
- Sell job opportunities to qualified candidates
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential new hire relationships during the selection process
- Manage diverse groups of people
- Placement of candidates to facilities through negotiations
- Relationship building between recruiter and new hire
- Work with HR to conduct disciplinary actions including Performance Improvement Plans, Corrective Action Reports, Terminations, etc.
- Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in Recruiting, Sales, Management, or related field
- Preferred Associate's Degree or higher
- Solid ability to communicate, show initiative and take the lead when necessary
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc)
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Preferred familiarity with HR databases, company software training
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Networking and relationship building
- Positive attitude to add value to the team

Recruiter Compensation:
First 2 months hourly pay period - 40 hrs/wk - $20/hr
After 2 months, base salary $36,000/year plus commissions (7% GP) - 40 hrs/wk
Recruiters meeting the expected KPIs make a minimum of $50,000 a year. For Recruiters who exceed KPI goals, the sky is truly the limit!
