Overview:
Oil and Gas Yard Personnel are responsible for various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of
facilities, equipment, and materials in the oil and gas industry. Loading and Unloading trucks. Maintaining a
safe environment.
Main Responsibilities
The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed, only a
representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent may not be required to perform
all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position specific duties.

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure in

the yard, including pumps, valves, tanks, and pipelines.

Address and report any equipment malfunctions, leaks, or damage.

Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment, which may include pipes, tools, chemicals,

and other items.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of materials, especially hazardous ones.

Maintain Cardlock Facilities daily and weekly.

Report any issues with the yard, equipment, or Cardlock facilities to your supervisor or a

member of management.

Conduct a pre and post trip inspection of all equipment.

Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly facility audits of the yard and Cardlock locations.

Maintain inventories of supplies and parts for each facility including Cardlocks.

Keep track of inventory levels and assist with inventory control, including receiving, counting,
-
and organizing stock.

Report inventory discrepancies and restock materials as needed.

Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, cranes, and trucks, to move and transport materials
-
and equipment within the yard.

Conduct equipment pre-checks and basic maintenance.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning up spills, debris, and general
-
yard maintenance.

Properly dispose of waste materials, including hazardous waste if applicable.

Properly manage and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials according to

regulatory requirements.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, report any issues, and perform routine

maintenance.

Maintain accurate records of all activities, including maintenance, inspections, and incidents.
Skills and Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. High School Diploma is required, Associate degree from an U.S. accredited Community College is
preferred but not required.
2. Must have a current drivers license with no restrictions.
3. Must have skills in accuracy and attention to detail, including timely follow-up in expediting
exceptions.
4. Able to lift over 75 pounds un-assisted with proper lifting techniques.
5. Able to read and write effectively.
6. Superior data entry skills are a must, and experience.
7. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
8. At least 2 years of relevant work experience
9. Effective interpersonal and communications skills.
