The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, safety, and profitability of Rowe’s fresh cut meat products. This role demonstrated excellent teamwork and presentations skills. The position will follow the Market manager’s merchandising plan as well as trim/preparation standards while also delivering exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
- Ensures that displays and case signs are updated and presented to maximize sales.
- Fills, rotates, and maintains meat products and displays
- Maintains high sanitization and presentation standards.
- Assists in other duties as assigned.
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and problem solve.
- Ability to work well with others and work well as a team
- Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, detailed, consistent and forward focused.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Meat Runners perform duties primarily in the meat area, where the temperature always ranges from 38 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Work involves reaching, bending, balancing, and carrying product weighing up to 100 pounds, repetitive arm and hand movements, eye-hand coordination, significant hand strength, and standing in place for long periods of time.
