Job Details:
Maintenance Technicians start at $21.00/hr. with a shift increase of .50 for second and $1.00 third shift, but could be higher has pay is based on experience. There is potential to progress quickly within levels and increase wage based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job. We are currently hiring for 1st and 3rd Shift.
Maintenance D shift 11pm-5am Wednesday & 5pm-5am Thursday thru Saturday

Requirements: Must have 1-year maintenance experience or equivalent
Responsible for providing service to the facility in order to insure an efficient and effective operation and assist in keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
Summary

Must be able to complete Lock Out / Tag Out training and follow all lock out / tag out procedures.

Pass level 1 required testing within 90 days.

Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns.
-
Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and adjusting equipment.

Be able to perform maintenance on production line equipment, set up and break down production line machinery.

Perform certain lubrication functions.
-
Be involved in all maintenance functions at the plant if needed.

Responsible for completing assigned work orders.
-
Assist in keeping the shop clean and orderly.
-
Checks out and accounts for parts used on the job.
-
Cleans up area after tasks are complete.

If repairs are needed on equipment where no or minimal training has been conducted, must have management approval prior to repairing and then reviewed by management after work is done.

Be able to perform preventative maintenance procedures on industrial forklifts, pallet moving equipment, batteries and charges.

Must be able to work with mechanics of a higher L-level for training.

Train and pass on knowledge to lower level employees.

Comply with OSHA standards.

Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and PM’s.

Fill out daily documentation that is required in SAP.

Always perform work in a safe manner.

Must be able to work competently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Abide by all company policies / procedures, written or verbal.

Work as a team member toward task accomplishments.

Perform any other tasks assigned which may include welding, fabricating, electrical, plumbing, painting and cleaning.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required for the Position

Must be able to work flexible hours.

Must be able to read information relating to the job including (but not limited to) work assignments, equipment specifications, repair related information, etc.

Must be able to write required information in work logs, PM’s, work orders, work notifications, etc.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a daily basis.

Must be able to work competently and efficiently with minimum supervision.

Must be able to work in harsh environments for short periods of time (Ex: Heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, water, mud, etc.).

Must be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.

Must be able to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodations.
