Have a 3 – day weekend every other weekend with our 3-2-2-3 schedule! You’ll work 12-hour shifts, 3 days working - 2 days off - 2 days working – 3 days off, 48 hours one week; 36 hours the next with built in overtime pay! You will swing every 4 weeks from working Days to Nights.

Perform movements of all railroad cars, to meet requirements of the melt shop, scrap procurement team and shipping department.

Unload/Load incoming scrap with raw material handlers assuring scrap conforms with NSBSL specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on the raw material handlers, locomotive, rail cars and track areas to eliminate any unnecessary time delays.

Enter data into logistics tracking system using a computer.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to work in a fast- paced, team environment.

Demonstrated successful track record with strong attendance and safety-first mindset.

Ability to stand most of shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in inclement weather.
- Basic use of MS applications.
