Fitness Sales Associate Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and members to the facility, answer phones. and assist the front desk with various administrative tasks;
- Prospect leads by doing a variety of actions, such as calling, texting, or emailing potential members, and chatting with them at local events or during fitness center tours;
- Maintain long-term clientele and grow the gym's membership base through sales, new member onboarding, and excellent customer service;
- Manage and organize marketing efforts both within and outside of the facility;
- Keep detailed and accurate notes on member issues to relay to management and direct immediate/more significant issues to ownership.
Fitness Sales Associate Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Prior fitness/membership sales experience is highly desired
- Good organization and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and has *excellent* typing skills.
- Has a "no job is too small" attitude and is a team player;
- Sees this role as a long-term position and cares about their professional reputation.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
