Morabito Hearing Aid Center is a small business in Rochester, NY. Our goal is to provide a modern office with an old-fashioned commitment to quality care and personalized service. Our staff is small, our team approach is personal and we take the time to get to know each patient. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Treat patients with genuine care and concern at all times.
- Answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and manage patient records
- Check and respond to all emails and voicemails throughout the day
- Prepare correspondence for patients, general dentists, and other professionals as required
- Provide support to the specialists
- Check insurance coverage and eligibility
- Proofread and transcribe documents as required
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth office operations
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, mailers and copying documents
- Scan documents into the practice management system as required
- Promote through internal marketing and lead management
- Some telemarketing current patients
- Running advertising campaign, birthday cards, new products, news letter, etc...
- Tracking and ordering office supplies
- Take in mail and properly distribute
- Prepare outgoing mail, FedEx and UPS
- Check in any FedEx and UPS items
- Always demonstrate teamwork and assist in other areas whenever available
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Prepare special reports, memoranda, sales presentations, word processing, compose letters and routine correspondence, and researching information
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the practice Some office cleaning
Requirements:
Please do not apply unless you have at least ONE year plus of directly related experience in a health care setting (such as medical secretary, medical receptionist, etc.) IS A MUST.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent a must
- Proficient in using a patient database and scheduler
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be proficient in MS word, Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread documents accurately
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong project coordination skills
- Must be familiar with use of office equipment, (fax, copy machine, multi-line phone system
