Job Title: Mobile Advanced Wound Care Provider
Location: Various Assisted Living Facilities
Job Type: Independent (Part Time or Full Time available)
As a Mobile Advanced Wound Care Provider, you will be delivering high-quality advanced wound care services to patients in various assisted living facilities. This role involves traveling to multiple locations to provide specialized wound care and management for elderly and bedridden patients. Your knowledge and experience in wound care and your ability to work independently will be crucial in ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient wounds and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement advanced wound care techniques, including debridement, dressing selection, and infection control measures.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals at each facility to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress.
- Travel and Scheduling: Manage a travel schedule to visit multiple assisted living facilities on a regular basis. Ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all assessments, treatments, and patient interactions.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staying updated with the latest advances in wound care and applying best practices in treatment.
Qualifications:
- Valid License as a Nurse Practitioner NP, MD, PA, or DO.
- Credentialed for Medicare (has an individual PTAN)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in advanced wound care preferred.
- Certification in wound care (e.g., CWOCN, CWS) is a plus.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $4,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
