The Social Media Content Creator will assist with executing the social strategy for The NOW, Bowie Barker, and other Post Investment Group lifestyle brands. This includes content creation, community management, and more, while helping to drive key performance metrics and meeting department goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ideate and create engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Assist with the execution of a results-driven social media strategy for multiple lifestyle brands under Post Investment Group.
- Plan and execute day-to-day content creation, including videos and photos, to live on social media channels and other digital properties.
- Stay up to date on creative trends, insights and generate ideas on how to best translate trends across social media channels.
- Must be comfortable being on-camera and speaking in videos.
- Proofread, edit and review content for quality, value and uniqueness.
- Produce on-brand video and photo content.
- Attend photo shoots and assist with events, including producing social media content.
- Maintain a unified brand voice across all social media channels.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
- Post on The NOW and other Post Investment Group lifestyle brands accounts daily.
Desired Qualifications:
- A strong background in content creation and an existing portfolio of work in the lifestyle space.
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools like Later and more.
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools like CapCut and more.
- Ability to understand current and future trends in digital content and social media.
- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to travel as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years experience with B2C social media marketing and content development.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Later, Capcut, Asana and/or equivalent digital media editing tools.
Compensation + Benefits:
$75,000-80,000K Salary
