General Statement of Duties: The Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator (CRC) for Home Care, ensures the accuracy and high quality of clinical documentation. The CRC is responsible for the accurate coding of claims, based on referral data, OASIS review and clinical documentation. The CRC supports field staff through acting as quality assurance, working to identify trends and areas of improvement.
Qualifications and Experience: Requires licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Connecticut. Must have a minimum of 3 years homecare nursing experience practicing at RN level. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, a heightened attention to detail, critical thinking skills, proven organization skills, and an understanding of current homecare and hospice regulatory requirements. This candidate has the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
The preferred candidate possesses:
- BSN
- Certificate in medical coding and billing
