We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care to patients and support healthcare providers in a fast-paced medical setting.
Temporary position: approximately July 8, 2024 to October4, 2024.
Longer employment may be an option based upon availability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake procedures such as measuring vital signs and documenting patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on healthcare procedures.
- Adhere to medical protocols and standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of basic medical procedures.
- Experience in patient care, including taking vital signs and assisting with examinations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
