Here’s your opportunity:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will create and drive demand for all channels. The BDM will build brand and product awareness - and gain specification - with Owners, Architects, Designers and other pertinent stakeholders., Working with the Regional Manager, the BDM will identify growth opportunities, building on existing business relationships while building new relationships. The BDM will take ownership of the Project Pipeline.
Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Identify growth opportunities, pursue and build business relationships, and secure sales with key targets in assigned markets.

Partners with the Regional Manager and Reps, build awareness of Bradley product and product application with key customers and other stakeholders.

Build Awareness and gain specifications of all relevant Bradley products within identified sales targets.

Maintain sales forecasts, construction schedules, and scorecards for key targets.

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities; Follow through on high profile opportunities from inception to transaction.

Identifies and documents customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and current clients, sales reps, OEM’s and distributors.

Increase sales of all relevant Bradley products utilizing practical field, plumbing and / or construction experience.

Utilize and develop multi-media strategies to increase presence within key targets that include but are not limited to sales calls, webinars, e-blasts, and conferences.

Participate in trade shows as required.
- Establish self as Lead sales person for designated sales targets, internally and externally.

Supports distributors, sales representatives, and sales department in product training opportunities
- Responsible for developing Bradley understanding and strategy profile for select market verticals.
Here’s what we're looking for:

Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years sales experience in building business relationships with pertinent industry experience.
- IBDM: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales of industrial plumbing systems or pertinent industry experience.
- Proven ability to identify key targets and make cold calls.

Working knowledge of the construction and/or bid spec market preferred.

Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% of the time.

Experienced with SalesForce.Com and Construct Connect is highly preferred.
- Employee location is flexible as it is a remote position but East or Central United States preferred.
