We are seeking healthy, motivated, self-disciplined individuals to join our team. We are seeking full-time employees to help us keep up with increasing demand for the Summer months. We are the largest ice manufacturer and distributor on the island, so we have consistent business year round. There’s room to grow within our company, competitive pay, and benefits!
This is a Labor Intensive job!

Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous Warehouse experience a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to work as a team player and take direction.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers.
- Previous forklift experience a plus, but not required.
- Able to lift bags of ice up to 40 lbs. continuously, and sometimes above your head.
- Must be able to count up to 120
- Able to push/pull racks of ice up to 700 lbs. throughout the day.
- Able to work in cold conditions 0-30 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Able to use hands and fingers frequently, and walk/stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed. We have 3 paid holidays off a year plus 9 working holidays, OT pay, and Weekend Pay**.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to arrive to work on time, as scheduled.

- Must be 18 years of age or older to work in freezer/warehouse environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Loads trucks with racks of ice by rolling, pushing, and/or pulling them into the trucks. Each rack weighs about 700 lbs. Reloads trucks as needed throughout the day.
- Stacks ice from a conveyor belt onto racks and pushes the racks into the freezer one at a time until the freezer is full. Each person restocks the freezer with approximately 40-50 racks of ice each day.
- Those who are forklift certified will use forklifts to transport ice.
- May be asked to help customers occasionally.
- Completes cleaning/ sanitizing duties regularly.
- May assist drivers with deliveries.
Success Factors:
- You should be physically fit & healthy because you will regularly be pushing and pulling heavy racks of ice and lifting heavy bags of ice.
- You should be okay with cleaning regularly as it is a large part of the job.
- You should be able to adapt to fluctuating business demands. Sometimes it is very busy and sometimes it is slow largely dependent on the weather.
- You should be flexible with your hours as hours depend on business and sometimes you may leave early while other times you may stay late. Average 40 hrs a week.
Physical Demands:
- Heavy lifting up to 40 lbs. sometimes above your head consistently.
- Pushing and pulling racks of ice each weighing 700 lbs. consistently throughout your shift.
- Walking, bending, and lifting consistently.
- Working in the freezer for short periods of time during your shift (usually 10-20 minutes at a time) at temperatures around 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in the production room, on the loading dock, in the freezer, or elsewhere at the plant. May be asked to assist drivers with deliveries.
- The dock and production room get really loud while loading and offloading trucks, opening racks, and the machines can be loud too. Hearing protection is suggested and will be provided upon request.
- You’ll be standing/ walking/ moving for the entirety of the shift.
- Floors are often wet and have ice on them, so caution must be used while traversing.
- There are a lot of moving parts ie. forklifts and racks, so caution must be taken.
- Safety toe shoes are required because you will be working by machinery and heavy racks.
- It can be fast paced or slow paced depending on the work load.
- While in the freezer cleaning or organizing racks, it is really cold (0-30 degrees Fahrenheit), and thick jackets are provided.
- You are given (1) paid 40 minute break, and may use the restroom/ drink water during the shift.
Performance Standards:
- There is a 3 month probation period upon hire in which your attendance, performance, and attitude are assessed.
- Attendance is of the utmost importance during employment, and employees are expected to come in to all scheduled shifts on time. If not able to make a shift, then valid proof is required to excuse your absence.
- Employees are to learn on the job, their job duties during the first 3 months of employment, and ask questions if unclear of expectations.
- Daily duties are to be completed according to the SOP’s by the end of the shift.
- The dock is to be kept clean throughout the day and cleaned regularly.
- Trucks are to be loaded accurately according to the load sheet and in a timely manner.
- Trucks should be offloaded quickly and racks organized neatly in the production/dock area and in the freezer.
- Safety is always a priority. You should always work safely.
You should be able to keep yourself productive throughout your shift
