As a Sales Associate, you will interact with customers to help guide them in their purchase by understanding their needs and interests, maintaining a good client database, meeting new customers, and negotiating costs.

Major Responsibilities:
- On the floor majority of the time greeting, talking to customers, developing relationships and selling product.
- Practice a feature/benefit selling methodology so that all customers receive consistent treatment when doing business.
- Conduct a road test and pre-delivery inspection prior to delivery to customer.
- Attain new and used sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager.
- Cultivate prospects (e.g., showroom customer follow-up, phone-in inquiries, past owners, etc.)
- Contact customers using mailing lists, CRMs and personal follow-up to encourage additional sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend training sessions to keep current with sales techniques and sales department issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience with sales of motorcycles or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn the sales process.
- Motorcycle Endorsement
- Approachable, likable personality with high-energy level.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated “closing skills".
- Dedication to delivering superior customer service.
- Ability to develop relationships and generate referrals as a trusted consultant
- High school or equivalent
Work Environment
In this position you will work in the dealership showroom as well as outside on the lot in all weather conditions. You will interact with all levels of the dealership’s teams including Management, Finance, other Sales team members, Service, and the general public. This is a technology driven role, comfort and familiarity with current automotive and office technology will help you to excel in this position.
