Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and challenges of clients struggling with Substance Abuse Disorder.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address underlying issues contributing to addiction and promote healthy coping strategies.
- Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to increase awareness and understanding of addiction, recovery principles, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure integrated and coordinated care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of emerging trends in addiction treatment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current registration or eligible for registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with the relevant state licensing board.
- Experience working with individuals and families affected by Substance Abuse Disorder in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and trauma-informed care principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Commitment to cultural humility, inclusivity, and social justice in clinical practice.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
