EHS Manager
Position Overview:
As an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Gas and Oil industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance with EHS policies. You will also be responsible for managing the Energy, OOOOb/c, Subpart W GHG reporting, NM Ozone Precursor, IRA-WEC, JJJJ/ZZZZ, BLM, NM Methane Waste Rule, EPA, TCEQ, NMED, API, AXPC, TXOGA, and PBPA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Gas and Oil industry and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures for the Gas and Oil industry- Monitor and ensure compliance with Energy, OOOOb/c, Subpart W GHG reporting, NM Ozone Precursor, IRA-WEC, JJJJ/ZZZZ, BLM, NM Methane Waste Rule, EPA, TCEQ, NMED, API, AXPC, TXOGA, and PBPA regulations
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Train and educate employees on EHS policies and procedures
- Investigate and report any EHS incidents or violations
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS compliance
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to identify and address EHS concerns
- Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and make necessary adjustments to policies and procedures- Develop and manage a budget for EHS initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field- Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHS management
- Strong knowledge of Energy, OOOOb/c, Subpart W GHG reporting, NM Ozone Precursor, IRA-WEC, JJJJ/ZZZZ, BLM, NM Methane Waste Rule, EPA, TCEQ, NMED, API, AXPC, TXOGA, and PBPA regulations
- Experience with TCEQ and NMED permits and compliance reporting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience managing a team and working with cross-functional teams
- Strong computer skills
