Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer & Communications Specialist to join our Atlanta-based team. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and developing communications for clients that inspire their employees to engage in their benefits and improve their wellbeing. This role requires a blend of creative design skills and copywriting expertise to effectively convey messages across various channels – print, digital and social.

Writing, Design & Communications Production
Create compelling content and design for PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and manage the presentation production process.
Proofread and edit client presentations.
Co-develop HR, benefits and wellness communication campaigns and strategies for clients.
Write and custom-design client communications to educate employees and inspire them to improve their health and wellbeing – employee benefit guides, brochures, flyers, newsletters, blogs, info- graphics, videos, intranet posts, workplace signage, emails, etc.
Research topics and write white papers to help position members of our consulting team as thought leaders.
Coordinate the production of communications by collaborating with third-party vendors, including printers and translators.
Manage multiple projects at one time, shifting priorities as needed to meet the needs of the organization and our clients.
Organize and maintain a centralized library of stock photography and graphics for presentations and client communications and keep the content current.
Track and analyze metrics to understand the impact of communication campaigns and strategies.
Requests for Proposals (RFP) Management
Draft and finalize responses to RFPs from current and prospective clients.
Work with colleagues throughout the company to identify the appropriate subject matter experts and coordinate their contributions to the RFP response.
Serve as the point of contact for any questions or clarification requests.
Ensure that the RFP submission is complete, accurate, meets all formatting requirements and that all milestones and timelines are met.
Develop and maintain a library of standard proposal responses for future reuse.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field
Two or more years of graphic design experience in a team environment
Proven experience writing content, such as feature stories and/or marketing collateral
Willingness to present a portfolio demonstrating your ability to write compelling content and visually communicate key messages in an effective and compelling manner
Required Skills and Attributes
Proficiency in graphic design software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat)
Advanced skills in PowerPoint
Data visualization skills – ability to represent data using visual elements like graphs, charts, maps, and infographics
Copywriting and proofreading skills
Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively organize tasks and shift priorities with agility as needed
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors
Strong attention to detail
Ability to apply brand standards creatively and strategically to a variety of projects
Innate curiosity that compels you to ask questions and research details
Ability to complete projects on time and within budget
Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps
Willingness to jump in and assist where needed
Additional Helpful Skills
Experience creating employee communications
Experience with intranet/website design and content management
Experience creating interactive communications to engage employees
Ability to integrate graphics into email automation and online event planning platforms
Experience with project management software to help efficiently organize, track, and execute tasks
