Days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Sunday Off)

JOB SUMMARY:
The transfer department works with the eggs that have been incubated for 18 days before being placed in hatchers. Push/pull setter carts from the setter and place them in the distacker. Work at the Prinsen machine to guide eggs to the proper channel for the machine to place in baskets. Push/pull trolleys to hatchers and place them in hatchers. Stack trays on farm carts. Workstations and walkways can be slippery. Excellent stability and balance are required. Frequent physical activities such as walking and standing for prolonged hours at a time are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

Moderate light lifting, 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Pushing/Pulling setter carts and trolleys.

Reaching above shoulders.

Use of fingers—dexterity and normal sensation required.

Both hands are required.

Both legs required (prosthesis acceptable if the full range of mobility is allowed).
