The “Youth Program Coordinator” primary role is to cultivate the lives of the youth, and young adults. To nurture them through loving relationships, challenge them through various activities, develop their leadership skills, encourages spiritual growth, and see them transition into successful young adults.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Direct the daily operations of the youth program in support of policies and procedures
· Ensure implementation of all curriculums
· Managing overall discipline
· Supervising all youth program staff
· Ensure direct communication with lead program staff
· Maintain and monitor program fidelity and outcomes and plan for modifications
· Coordinate pre/post testing.
· Ensure monthly program data requirements are met.
· Develop and maintain open and ongoing relationship and communication with families of children in the youth program.
· Coordinate and assist with volunteer trainings and appreciation events.
· Conduct regularly schedule parent meetings.
· Recruit and maintain student enrollment
· Create Lesson Plans for activities
· Review and create academic plans for all students in the program
· Develop a strong relationship with neighboring High Schools- visit on a regular basis and attend meetings/events
· Collaborate with partners and sponsors to create ongoing and future enrichment activities that form lasting partnerships
· Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions for interns.
· Conduct follow-up and monitoring of participation in TML Youth services, provide feedback to assigned staff and supervisors, and attempt re-engagement as needed.
· Assist with transportation of members as needed
· Enhance community relations by attending monthly meetings, presentations, trainings, forums, work-groups, etc.
· Submit monthly reports.
· Assist with preparing devotional lesson plans and spiritual events
· Facilitate or co-facilitate weekly spiritual formation groups for youth
· Maintain necessary documentation in accordance with contractual agreements with such agencies as the TCT.
· Complete required training
· Responsible for mentoring youth: one on one visits
· Advocate for & track youth progress in school and report monthly
· Provide guidance and coaching to build capacity and skills to accomplish individual and team goals
· Establish a combination of program activities to provide academic tutoring and support, skill-driven sports, fitness and wellness activities, life skills and visual and performing arts instruction
· Follow and maintain Scope of Services for funders.
· Organize, evaluate, and oversee the site to create a fun and engaging learning environment
· Organizes special and culminating events, including showcases that highlight student achievement and culturally enriching field trips
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
