Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Spanish Third Shift Production Supervisor with a strong background in managing dynamic teams of people! The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process from raw materials to final products. If you are someone who is hands-on, numbers-driven with a focus on impact this may be the role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Following standard operating procedures to ensure product consistency and quality. - Assisting in the production of various cannabis products, including but not limited to edibles, concentrates, and extracts.
- Managing a team of production workers and ensuring they follow safety guidelines
- Scheduling production shifts and assigning tasks to workers.
- Monitoring and improving production efficiency and quality.
- Troubleshooting issues that may arise during manufacturing.
- Enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Training and mentoring employees.
- Reporting to upper management on production progress and issues.
- Implementing and optimizing production processes.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Bilingual Communication: - Effectively communicate in both English and Spanish to facilitate teamwork and collaboration in a diverse workplace. - Assist in training and providing guidance to Spanish-speaking team members as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to safety protocols and compliance regulations within the cannabis industry. - Participate in training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance: - Inspect and monitor product quality to meet company standards. - Report any deviations or issues promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies throughout the shift, upholding cleanliness standards.
- Follow all safety policies and processes; all proper PPE, and safety standards.
- Other duties may apply as required.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong Background: - Previous manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, especially in a regulated industry, is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Must be over 21 to apply (Cannabis Industry Requirement)
- Requires operational knowledge of using a computer and Microsoft office software.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations pertaining to cannabis production desired.
- Commitment to maintaining quality standards and ensuring product consistency.
- Cannabis Strain Knowledge: Familiarity with different cannabis strains and their characteristics is beneficial for better quality control and communication with the department lead.
- Adaptability to changes in processes, equipment, and regulations.
- Shift Work: - Work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment with flexible shift options: - First Shift (Morning) - Second Shift (Afternoon/Evening) - Third Shift (Overnight).
- Attendance: - Punctuality and consistent attendance are critical. Strict adherence to shift schedules is required to ensure seamless production processes.

Salary range: $20.00 - $26.00
